Amendments to the Criminal Legal Aid Regulations will come into force from 30 September 2022, and slightly increase the hourly rate chargeable by process servers for their services.
New rates will allow for an hourly charge of £29.44 outside London, and £21.16 within London, while mileage appears to have stayed the same as £0.45 per mile.
These Regulations will apply to matters in which a relevant determination is made on or after
30th September 2022.
